MEET LINDSEY COPE, LCSW

she/her

Ready to finally feel secure and confident in your own skin?

I’m an Atlanta based therapist who specializes in eating disorders, anxiety, and body image.

You remember a time when melting down over a photo or feeling like you never stop thinking about food weren’t the “norm”… but now those days feel like a distant memory.

Don’t you wish you had the tools to change that?

You’re in the right place.

I’m Lindsey, and I help women just like you: ones that have it within them to live a more confident and fulfilling life, but just need the support to get there.

I help my clients find connection, understanding, and acceptance by equipping them with the tools they need to better handle their stressors and really engage with the life they want.

Many of today’s solutions for women are geared toward following a prescriptive, one-size-fits-all plan that leaves you feeling misunderstood and even more behind in life. I know that your circumstances are unique, so we collaborate every step of the way, helping you to connect with what you need in order to feel confident and ready for the life you want.

First, we connect past and present to bring awareness and understanding to why you relate to food, weight, and body the way you do. Then, we find ways to manage difficult thoughts and emotions that will be most effective for you. Through our work together, you’ll have the tools you need to cope and to feel connected to yourself so that you can thrive in your relationships.

I’m dedicated to helping women find connection and fulfillment in life again.

My training in eating disorders, body image issues, and anxiety means I have the expertise you need and deserve when reconnecting with yourself. But at the end of the day, you want to know you’re working with someone who “gets” what it means to be a woman struggling with anxiety and hopelessness, right?

I get it because I’ve been there myself and am on my own eating disorder recovery journey. I know what it’s like to feel out of control with food, anxious that everyone around you is judging, and hopeless that things will ever get better. So when we work together, you won’t just get a trained therapist. You’ll get someone who truly understands what you’re going through.

FAQs

  • After your initial consultation, you’ll be sent paperwork electronically to complete prior to the first session. At the first session, you'll be greeted with a warm and inviting space, where we will sit down and begin to explore your world, getting a holistic view of the supports, stressors, and resources you currently have. We will also discuss your goals and how we can work together to achieve them, and I make sure there's time to answer any questions that you may have.

  • This varies from person to person and on their goals. Some clients feel they have achieved their goals in a few months and others prefer to have therapeutic support for up to a year or longer. We will reevaluate your goals and our progress throughout our time working together.

  • Please visit the fees page for more information.

  • While I incorporate experiential practices in session, the basis of our work is still talk therapy. Due to this, I see ages 14 and up.

  • Yes! I offer virtual sessions on a HIPAA compliant platform. Clients have the flexibility to choose virtual, in-person, or a hybrid model.

It’s time to get your life back.
